Review of Double Impact (1991) by Jake A — 28 May 2017
Cheesy, utterly derivative and not all that memorable but it does just about meet the bare minimum of requirements for an action movie. Van Damme is capable enough in the lead roles and gets plenty of opportunities to show off his ability to be an action star.
The action itself is solid, really quite violent but ultimately entertaining enough to sustain the film that is pretty much devoid of any other positives besides the inclusion of Geoffrey Lewis.
