Review of Dororo (2007) by Regan S — 21 Dec 2007
Despite the hopeless special effects, I thought the movie was pretty good, until the ending, of course.... the director gave a ruthless, bloodthirsty, compationless character a glorified death in which he sacrifices himself to revive his son.
keep in mind this is the same guy who sold his son's body to the demons in exchange for power, who oppressed his people and ruled by fear instead of kindness,this is a person who would kill his own wife and son because they stood in the way of his ambitions.
Such a person would not sacrifice anything of himself to save anyone else. And he deserve nothing better than a very slow, very very painful and grotesque death.
