Review of Doppelherz (2003) by Alyshia R — 29 Dec 2007

This is one of my all time favorite films. The use of grotesqe images and repetitive thoughts worded in the most unique form creates a unique interest and confusion. It causes people to analyze and search for meanin behind everythign said, thinking that they have seen into at least a small peice, of the mind of Marilyn Manson, giveing them a sence of understanding and for some the justification needed to support their disgusted for his work.

The most amazing thing about this movie is that 100 different people can discover 100 seperate meanings for one line in the movie...(For example: "Sing a song kitty")...("Everytime we roll up a dollar bill we are suffocating the president").

..("I am a canvas that bleeds I am painted by fingers") it is purely amazing...mayeb this carefully thought out master peice was just thrown togther as an extra on his cd because he wanted to munipulate people into thinking that he is this deep and dark mastermind, when all he posses is the amazing ability to master, marketing techniques that will appeal to the mind and create a media frenzy?!.

...Manson is a talented man and an amazing artist...overall I recomend this film to anyone ! !
