SPOILER.
There is a planet in the sun's orbit that shares the orbit with our Earth but it is always on the opposite side of the sun so we don't know about it. An astronaut goes on a space mission and arrives on that planet. Everything on that planet is exactly as it is on this planet except it is the mirror image of it. Eventually that all gets revealed to the viewer then everything gets reset and the movie ends.
