Writer-Director Rick Famuyiwa gets a lot of things right with 'Dope'..the casting, character sketch of the protagonist, soundtrack, modern technology and so on. But he falters quite a bit in delivering the intended message with a mess of a final act.
Nonetheless, the pacing is great to keep the viewer engrossed.
