Review of Dope (2015) by Chris F — 16 Oct 2015
Dope is a pretty dope movie. Director Rick Famuyiwa delivers an interesting take on the coming of age story. Star Shameik Moore delivers a great lead performance, and the supporting cast delivers as well.
The film is really funny and interesting. The film does loose some steam towards the middle/end of the film but the film is still a very joyous experience. I really liked the director and how he made this very unique film.
This is definitely a film I would watch again.
