Review of Doomsday (2008) by Tsd — 10 Aug 2008
It started off so promisingly. It had the potential to be absolutely fantastic - the premise was brilliant. But then the moment they arrived in Glasgow it turned into a shambolic display of idiocy, excess, and one of the worst Mad Max rip-offs in history.
Where's the bitterness? The social and political issues that should have been there but weren't? I'll tell you something, it's blindingly obvious that Neil Marshall is English. And hasn't the vaguest idea of the resentment and anger that exists north of the border even WITHOUT a viral apocalypse.
