Review of Doomsday (2008) by Varun U — 17 Jun 2009
A weird mix between Escape From New York and 28 Days Later, Doomsday has a couple of good ideas on survival and the lengths that we will go to achieve it, but does absolutely nothing with it. There is a certain visual flair to this movie, but everything about this movie reeks of disinterest.
Rhona Mitra can certainly fill out a leather tank top, but that's not enough to carry the movie. Hmph, I can only imagine what this could have been if the script were tighter.
