Review of Doomsday (2008) by Yussi C — 17 Aug 2009

Doomsday blatently rips off its 80's Post Apocalyptic bretheren...its not an homage its a mish mash of 8 movies. Mad Max Trilogy, Escape from New York, and the 28 Days/Months Movies. Throw in some Braveheart and Gladiator to top it off.

I dont know how you could throw all those together and still have a coherent story...but they did...and for that it gets a good grade. Gory, over the top, and action packed keep this to four stars. You leave feeling like you had this meal somewhere before.
