Review of Doomsday (2008) by Cory A — 06 Sep 2009

It started out promising enough. It seemed like an interesting enough story. Unfortunately, the story didn't last long. For most of the movie, it was just chopping people's heads off and eating them.

They tried to make everything seemingly plausible to happen in real life, but I'll be frank, they failed. the car chase near the end was pretty good, but for the entire preceding hour, it was just chopping people's heads off and eating them and then chopping another person's head off.

I think they tried way too hard with the thrill factor and left the plot as a second thought. And that's not thrilling.
