"Escape from New York" meets "Mad Max" / "Road Warrior" / "Beyond Thunderdome" (yes, all three films) meets "Army of Darkness" meets "Dawn of the Dead.
" Whew. Gratuitous violence is tired-- now that it's so easy to do it's lost the wow factor it had in the 80's.
