Why did I see this movie? Because Neil Marshall showed some promise with Dog Soldiers and then scared the crap out of me with The Descent. So what does he do when they give him a budget? He makes some ridiculous film about the future in which a virus wipes out England, people disregard technology and cannibals run rampant.
Over the top violence, bad acting, disjointed script...this movie had it all. It even had a scene where a Bentley drives thru medieval England while Mad Max baddies try to kill the heroes. This all culminates with the main bad guy holding onto the top of the Bentley as it drives thru a bus blocking the road.
The bus blows up, the Bentley is unscathed and the severed head of the bad guy flies towards the camera screaming. Awesome. Sorry I ruined the ending.
