Doomsday, perhaps more so than any other film I've ever seen, suffers from multiple personality disorder. It starts off as an Escape From New York clone, morphs into a lame version of 28 Days Later, tries to be like Aliens, then becomes Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, before spending a few minutes in MIddle Earth, and then ending as a pathetic homage to The Road Warrior.
