Review of Doomsday (2008) by Caius C — 27 May 2012
Tries very hard to become like a more action oriented 28 days later, but ultimately fails under a wave of cliche ridden storylines and way too much action, and for the record. there is a large amount of gore, including a man being burned, and torn apart as food.
Neil Marshall is a very creative director indead, having proved his credentials with the exteremely scary The Descent. But here he falls victim to an overdosage of action rather then doing what he does best, and that is scaring us. Not to say that this is a bad movie, but it just doesnt live up to anything at all. But it is one hell of an intense movie.
