Review of Doomsday (2008) by Nathan T — 15 May 2013
It's pretty much a tribute to every 80's sic-fi actioner out there, owing most to Escape From New York and the Mad Max trilogy with nods to Aliens and a few others along they way. Gets off to a good start, but sort of fizzles out towards to the end.
Ends up feeling like a long lost video rental that you would stumble upon in the local video shop as a kid. Good trashy fun.
