One of my all time favorite movies. I love the action, the scenery, the music. I'm a classical music lover, but the hard rock music in this movie goes so incredibly well with the action sequences that it adds so much excitement and exilaration to the movie.

It's a superb action/adventure/apocalyptic film. There's no nudity, no sex, so it's safe to watch with company. It's got Rhonna Mitra, which is also a great plus. It is a movie about Eden, a hardened law officer who is chosen by the man who raised her to head a team to go into Scotland, which was isolated from the rest of the world after the Reaper virus becomes an epidemic in Scotland that can't be contained.

A wall is put up to quarantine Scotland. Decades later when everyone thinks that the virus has killed off all of Scotland's population, satellite images show that there are humans living in Scotland.

When the Reaper virus reappers now in London, Eden's team is supposed to go into Scotland to find the cure that has allowed the people seen through satellite to survive. Eden's team goes in and is quickly separated, some are killed, and Eden and her team mate are captured.

Her team mate is roasted alive and eaten by the gang who captured them, led by Sol. Eden escapes by freeing herself from the handcuffs and then decapitating Sol's girlfriend, aided by Sol's sister Cally, also locked in a cell.

Eden and Cally escape on a train after meeting up with the two remaining members of Eden's team. They head to the fortress of Dr. Marcus Kane, who turns out is Sol and Cally's father. Eden believes him to have discovered the cure to the reaper virus.

She allows Dr. Kane's henchman, Telamon to capture them so she can ask Kane for the cure. Kane lets Eden know that there was no cure, that the cure is the purity of their blood, because they are immune to the Reaper virus.

After the incredible fight scene with Telamon, and the super chase car chase/fight scenes between Eden's crew and Sol's crew, Eden manages to catch the Prime Ministers Assistant Canaris, who is now in power, on camera through her prosthetic camera eye.

He discloses how he will let the virus run amock for a bit, then use the antidote derived from Cally's blood to emerge as the savior. Eden decides to remain in Scotland. She goes back to meet up with Sol's gang carrying Sol's head.

The ending hints at Eden becoming the new boss of Sol's gang since she told Bill Nelson that she would be waiting for Canaris, when Nelson told her Canaris would come after her. I hope there is a Doomsday 2 in the making.

This is the best apocalyptic/action/zombie movie I have ever seen. As I said before, the music and the action of the movie are incredible. Definitely not for bookworms or romantic comedy lovers. This is an action movie lovers love movie.
