Review of Doom (2005) by Zach M — 31 Aug 2012
I never played DOOM as a kid, so there's no sentimental loss here. Ultimately I don't really give a shit how closely the movie follows the games storyline. All I see is the Rock and Karl Urban running around playing soldiers, and that's good enough for me.
DOOM is some good old violent fun. It's not worth taking this one to seriously, and if you actually allow yourself to not, then who knows? You may actually enjoy it.
