Review of Doom (2005) by Tommy G — 11 Sep 2009
What can I about Doom? The Video Game is one of the most loved and respected of the FPS genre, and it's a shame that the film couldn't do anything to honour the game. The acting is bad, and everyone feels under the shadow of quite possibly the only well known actor in the film, Dwayne Johnson.
The story is almost non-existent and whenever it is present, feels rushed and not thought out well. The special effects are average and not memorable. Doom is an example of a rubbish film being made purely to cash in on a big name or franchise.
