The team actually go to planet mars, the research facility on mars is called olduvai.
This Video Game adaptation isn't a bad one, its just not balanced. The plot is good, but its overrun by too much pointless search and eliminate sequences, wash, rinse and repeat.
They should have elaborated more on The Dig and their findings.
Still worth the watch, with lights out and sound up.
