(I've never played the games) You know, the first hour isn't bad for an action, kinda scary, no character development, no story kind of movie, because that's what it is. But then the story it has goes from kill the monsters to inner squad conflict & the main characters attitude completely changes, and it gets much worse.
But as an action movie, it is pretty good, the first person scene drags on but is awesome, the last fight is pretty intense, and they actually do a decent job explaining the science behind the monsters.
