Review of Doom (2005) by Markd — 26 Jul 2007
As a big fan of both The Rock and the Doom games you could say I was excited about this film. You can also imagine my bemusement to discover that this has little to do with the games and that The Rock is wasted on a character that requires him to do little more then scowl and shout a bit.
Taken purly as a sci fi horror film though this is, um, ok. A passable guilty pleasure (as one other person said) that does get better after a slow first half hour and the first person scene is a minor classic.
