Review of Don't Worry Darling (2022) by Shekt — 24 Oct 2022
This movie is about 50 years behind. It's a mish-mash of past satires, but those works were made in a different time and world. And that world is long gone, and so is the relevancy. Company town with gender-based division of labour.
Come on, not fresh and not relevant. There's plenty ripe for satire in today's world. For example, where are all the undocumented Mexican helpers and gardeners ? Today's world has plenty of middle-class hypocrisy waiting for satire.
