Review of Don't Torture a Duckling (1972) by Private U — 06 Jun 2007
My favorite Fulci film... this surpasses anything he made in the 80's, with the exception of The New York Ripper, which is a close second for me. An all-around fantastic giallo with a great story, interesting characters and a beautiful score by Riz Ortolani.
The vigilante murder of the witch Maciara is the best sequence Fulci ever directed.
