Review of Don't Think Twice (2016) by Dean B — 10 Aug 2016
This comedy about an improv group and success may be played in a minor key, but that doesn't mean it's negligible. Birbiglia (a cutie) asks hard questions about success, ambition, and what happens to friendships when talent just isn't enough, and he gives the movie over to his sensational supporting cast--Key and Jacobs are the MVP's here, and they more than deliver.
It's not laugh-out-loud (well, not usually), but there are lots of bittersweet smiles to be had, and a lovely finish to send you out with a glow.
