Starring Sergio Castellitto, Penelope Cruz, Claudia GeriniThe film begins with a teenage girl having a scooter accident. Her dad a surgeon working at the hospital is shocked. There is a flashback to set their relationship. Then he looks outside another flashback related to a handbag he saw. In that flashback he rapes a lady. Then within the flashback there is another flashback from his youth. That makes a lot of flashbacks and Im lost already. But we go back to the major flashback the one related to the handbag, we see how he develops a relationship with the woman he raped many times before she started suffering from the «Stockholm syndrom». He has two lives, that one and the one with his wives. He really falls for the girl he raped and doesnt really like his wife anymoer but destiny will turn things around and he will have to go with it.Non Ti Muovere is successful actor Sergio Castellitto's second directorial effort. There are lots of interesting shot from the first minute of the film and the use of music is sometimes unexpected but end up being a clever choice. The film is slow though and a bit confusing cause we dont really get right away where its going or why its structured that way.The actor/director gives a fairly good performance and Penelope Cruz does as well even if she has to speak in Italian, which isnt her native language.Dont Move is still an interesting picture despite the confusion and the slow pace. It manages to make us sympathize with the character and some moment are touching. Everything comes together at the end its quite satisying.
