Yawn. We gave up after half an hour. The premise and the politics are fine, but despite targets the size of a barn door, the jokes didn't land. The overstuffed cast appeared to be trying hard but the writing was too bad for it to work on a dramatic level, either.
We were expecting something so much smarter.
