Review of Don't Look Up (2021) by Ahkman — 25 Dec 2021
The scientists tell us an asteroid is heading for earth and no one listens to them. Trust the science. Really this show is a satire on the climate change debate. A few of the jokes land and its enjoyable enough but it's also smug and one sided.
The writers are and not as clever as think they are and based on this I'm not sure they've even heard the other sides of the argument. It's just straw men all the way down. It's a comedy so some of this is fine, but overall self awareness is lacking.
