It seems in the midst of Covid and the California wildfires, Adam McKay fell asleep watching Dr. Strangelove and Armageddon, woke up and went, "Heyyyy....". Satire can be subtle or it can be wielded like a sledgehammer.
Guess which approach Don't Look Up takes. That's not too say his targets aren't worthy and timely. It's just so obvious. Like shooting fish in a barrel. Science versus politics. Happy News personalities.
Bezos/Musk type billionaires. Nepotism in the White House. Blam blam blam. It's the end of the world as we know it and...I chuckled from time to time.
