A very intriguing psychological horror that requires repeat viewings to understand its nuances and use of imagery i.e. water, red, glass, in unravelling the story up until the end.
This film won't scare you - it will just creep you out in its forboding dreaded atmosphere.
The city of Venice only adds to this feeling by its vast canvas with dark alleyways and corridors.
Ultimately, the story is about love, loss and fate - and how beautiful and poignant it is.
