Review of Don't Look Now (1973) by Jennie R — 23 Jan 2011
I might have found this movie better had I seen it in the 70's but over the decades, it has lost its edge. The storyline jumps around so much that it develops too many loopholes and becomes somewhat annoying.
Guess that goes along with the title (which I never really understood). The backdrop of Venice is incredible and adds to the creepy supernatural theme of this film. While the ending of the film is predictable, the manner of which it is done is definitely heart pounding.
This is not a horror film by any stretch but if you are looking for a classic movie with favorite actors, you wont be disappointed.
