Review of Don't Look Now (1936) by G. K — 04 Jan 2009
Don't Look Now is not really horror movie, and can hardly be classified as a thriller. It is more like a slow psychological-thriller that uses atmosphere as main suspense factor. Alas, it has a very basic idea and nothing else for a plot.
Director tries hard to get us into the story, and sometimes successfully. However at the end of the day, there is only a very good opening scene and some ok thrills left in mind. Oh, and this awful awful ending! I wished I haven't seen it and was happy with all nice editing and shots.
