Review of Don't Look Now (1936) by Jarett B — 07 Oct 2007
Incredible. I haven't lost myself in a film like this in ages, and it demands a second viewing (a second viewing that will be even more rewarding than the first). The title so accurately describes the film that it is almost comical.
The idea of 'paying close attention' to a film takes on a whole new meaning in Roeg's masterpiece. It's billed as 'A Psychic Thriller' but it may be THE psychic thriller and is handled brilliantly by Roeg.
