Review of Don't Look Now (1936) by David F — 21 Dec 2007
This is some movie....it captured me right away. Certainly moreso a suspense/thriller than horror movie. Roeg does a great job as does his DP with various themes of: loss, sadness, acceptance, death and psychic abilities.
you can tell that this movie had a strong impact on pop culutre and several directors. I could watch it again and pick up on so many things. Christie was beautiful in this. Those old lady sisters were many levels of freaky and annoying.
Just awesome. If you believe that Sutherland and Christie were acting in that famous scene though....you're a fool.
