This is a very simple and strange horror film, nothing much really happens, but it is very creepy and is very clever. First this film looks stunning the streets of Venice are very atmospheric, then the editing is very clever mixing different elements back with past events, also the use of colour is brilliant placed.

The colour red is the main key to this film, almost every shot has an object which is coloured red, sometimes it's just a bottle cap, but the symbol of red relates to the coat of parents child who died, it also represents blood, and keeps the whole film knitted together.

This is not a film for the faint hearted, it is disturbing, and some may find that it just too cold, but give it some time and treat it like a piece of art, this is not Hollywood so it is a grubby film, but worth a watch.
