Review of Don't Look in the Basement (1973) by Kelly T — 15 Dec 2007
Interesting piece of '70s slasher fare. The acting level is okay considering that this screams "low-budget." The basement should have had more prominence. The scene with Allyson and the phone repairman brought to mind the song "Telephone Man"-a minor hit in the 1970s.
Overall, not too bad...although the ending should have been redone-I'd had the nurse become "one of them"-to me, that would have made more sense.
