Review of Don't Go in the House (1979) by Private U — 15 Jul 2007
Grim viewing - The murder sequences where the victims are burnt alive are quite harrowing, though the bulk of the film is built up of the main character's psychological deterioration, which is unfrotunately less effecting and in places the bizarre tonal shifts (in particular a sequence where he has to negotiate a suit from a camp cashier) tend to distract...
As such its a rather dull experience with flashes of ingenuity.
