Don't Breathe is advertised as a horror movie but it's more of a thriller than anything. Don't Breathe is a very effective thriller. It features good performances, good set up, and suspense within the characters.
The end of the movie does leave it up for a possible sequel though. It's not perfect but overall it's a very effective and on the edge of your seat thriller.
