Review of Don't Breathe (2016) by Carl G — 07 Jan 2017

This film was very nearly good. The director does a great job of creating interesting shots that keep the tension built through the "edge of the seat" first act, while the lead actress' skills offer a glimpse at a promising career.

Unfortunately the film takes a turn towards the absurd and ridiculous once the characters make their way into the basement, leading you into a second act that is neither compelling nor interesting.
