Review of Don't Breathe 2 (2021) by Diptanshu — 09 Jul 2022
Thrilling, Intense and a great sequel. it was more of a action thriller, The story and the arc for blind man is brilliant and the connection to 1st one is amazingly done, The music and the camera angles/movements just like 1st one they were great such as the door scene where reaction is captured in mirror and just like prequel the glass shatter scene but with the blind man it was awesome, The music was fine, The starting intro and the setup the girl's training and the blind-mans fear for loosing the girl can be felt and then the kidnappers entrance and 1st killing of driver women it was bloody then the kidnappers entrance to the house and the shadow"dogs" death and the blind-guys emotions were just brilliantly showcased.
the house cat and mouse sequence were just intensely brilliant, the hide and seek and killings specially the glue scene and the basement electricity stuff and blast was awesome, Then the twist and further fight resulting in the house fire and girl's kidnap then the dogs rescue from the fire while the dog is gonna kill him the whole blind man's fate and emotion was just dark and brutal, felt poor and pity for him, then the girl meeting with her parents and the creepy way the talk and the heart twist is done resulting in the ending sequence with the blind-man rescue mission of girl, The lights out fight and the hammer kill it was amazing, the blind-man acting dead sequence was just brilliantly awesome and then the smoke fight and the girl's cuff and hand cutting sequene was intense, The blind-man making eyes popped of kidnapper/dad and just before the kidnappers killing blind guy the girls killing him it was dark, Then blind-guy death sequence with him sayin "go" to girl and she is free at end it was an satisfying arc.
and the post credits were surprising.
