Review of Don't Bother to Knock (1952) by Emma H — 04 Aug 2009
At the beginning of the film I thought Marilyn's voice was wrong for this part, but as the story progressed, it was fine. She is excellent as the disturbed woman Nell in this film and it is a proof that she could play more than the dumb blonde roles, which she was always being offered.
It is a shame that she was not given more parts like this to play, maybe then she would have been a more contented person.
