Review of Don't Bother to Knock (1952) by Ben H — 04 Aug 2009
I loved 2 see Mary in a role that contrasted the common character she portrays in a lot of her movies. I was totally interested in the entire movie due to that performance that she gave. However, the trailer led me to believe it was more of a murder mystery than anything, hence why I rushed at the opportunity to watch the film once I found out about it.
But trailers then and now have always been doing such, that's why they accomplish their job, get us to go see the film, so as an aspiring businessman in the film industry I really can't be upset with, and the film wasn't that bad either so it'd be false to say I was misled to see a movie that I didn't even like.
