Although being one of the greatest movies I've ever seen, this movie isn't for everyone. As you can obviously tell from the overly harsh synopsis, some can not (will not) appreciate Don't Be A Menace.
.. for what it is. I would define this as a "party movie". There's not neccessarily any need to actually follow the movie from start to finish, you can pay mild attention and still find it to be a great movie.
Therefore, being it doesn't require much attention, it's great when you're just hanging out with a few friends and want a few laughs.
