Review of Donovan's Brain (1953) by Greg W — 12 Dec 2012
I really enjoyed this film. It is the perfect 1950s sci fi feature. Frankly, it's everything you would expect. The concept is far fetched (1. A brain being able to survive outside of the body, and 2.
the living brain being able to control other people remotely.) One huge point of interest in this film (and the reason I watched it in the first place) is the presence of Nancy Davis. A woman who would go on to become better known as Nancy Reagan, first lady of the united states.
Frankly, when you watch the film it's kind of funny thinking about that.
