Review of Donnie Darko (2001) by Ashley B — 03 Jul 2014

I did have problems with the overall ideas and the way they tried to tie them up in a pretty little knot at the end, but I felt that a lot of it was pushing how much the audience can take. I still liked it a lot, but I wish the ideas were put together better. I got it, but I fear that most people who see it will not understand jack shit.
