Review of Donnie Brasco (1997) by Trevor C — 24 Jun 2010
Its a lot like Departed, except a lot less violent and a little bit less style. its very realistic, and its possibly one of both Depp and Pacino's greatest performances, and they are probably my favorite actor Duo in a drama I've ever seen.
even though Depp is ratting out on the mobsters, he still has a deep relationship with Pacino's character, which makes this movie very interesting. it also has many classic scenes about various 'wise guy' rules and lingo, like a scene about what "forget about it" can mean.
