Review of Donnie Brasco (1997) by Jenna F — 30 May 2010

Not sure if I think the acting itself is the best I have seen out of the cast, but it is a worthwhile mob movie none the less. I really liked the fact that Pacino doesn't play the typical 'mob boss' type.

Towards the end of the movie I felt very saddened by his life. I also thought the father/son relationship that Depp and Pacino's characters had was good. I did feel the end was too abrupt. I think it could have been tied together or rounded up better.

Something, anything. Left me wanting more and feeling a bit cheated somehow. Other than that, I liked it.
