I never thought I would enjoy Pacinos character more than Depps in the same movie. Al was just plain funny. In a goofy but totally serious way. I went in thinking OH MY ITS JOHNNY DEPPERS HE IS LIKE REALLY GOOD ACTOR AND WILL PLAY SOME LOOPY LUGNUT OF A CHARACTER.
No. His character (Donnie) was just meh..I mean it wasn't a short performance by any means, but Johnny just doesn't cut it playing a normal schmuck. I honestly didn't know what kind of actor Pacino was outside of Scarface.
.and I have even seen Scarface from start to finish. Oops. All in all, this is a top mob movie that won't disappoint. I can't leave this review without mentioning Caleb. He was so convincing! When he was eating those hamburgers I just wanted to stand up and applaud.
I'm talking of course about the lion. Forget about it! Thanks for the suggestion Collin. This is one of my most confusing tidbits yet. WHAMMO!
