Review of Donkey Punch (2008) by Sam R — 03 Feb 2009

This film promised so much in terms of hype, I couldn't contain myself upon sitting down to watch it. But it is just another forgettable shlock-horror-thriller film that fits every horror/psychological thriller boot out there.

It's been done a hundred times before, and will continue to be imitated for years to come. The premise caught my interest, as did some varied and raved reviews, but in the end it didn't deliver anything more than a tame orgy sequence and some mediocre killings.

I expected more, shame it's supposed to be one of the biggest films to come out of the UK this last year?! Hmmmm.
