Review of Donkey Punch (2008) by Nicole S — 06 Feb 2009

Kind of a shame, I thought this would get a "Best Screenplay" nod for sure. It's got romance, suspense and all that clever stuff the academy looks for like coked out, depraved, loose whores banging complete strangers because they own a boat.

But the movie turns into a struggling tribute to a brave young woman who is killed in the line of duty. Her friends try to get home so they can spread knowledge of her heroic feat and totally get away from "hairlip Steve".

Definitely One of the most heartfelt, and powerful romantic thrillers of our time... Ha! No seriously, this was one of those "So bad, it's good" movies. Check it out when your girl says she wants to try new things.
