Review of Donkey Punch (2008) by Cheryl L — 11 May 2009
Gripping British horror about three girls on holiday that get persuaded by a group of young men to come party on their boat. After a mix of booze and drugs the inevitable happens and three of the men get involved in a steamy sex session with two of the girls, a session that involves the mythical "Donkey Punch", something that ends in tragedy and would be life changing for everyone on the boat.
This starts off fairly predictably but then becomes more and more gripping and exciting as the film goes on. What makes this pretty different from other horrors of this kind is that, until the pivitol moment, the girls are in control of whats happening but soon everything spirals out of control for everyone.
A solid modern horror film.
